Control joints: To reduce the potential shrinkage cracking limit the size of wall panels to 144 sqft (14 m2).
Expansion Joints: Use as needed when there is a change in substrates, inside corners to prevent potential cracking due to changing intemperatures.
Corner Beads: To be used all outside edges to protect the exposed stucco and provide clean finish lines.
Water resistant building paper, firim accessories, Weep screeds, Cosing beads, Galvanized expanded metal lath, Galvanized nails and staples where necessary.
Each coat EkoPlast-50 can be applied up to 2,5 cm (1 inch) thickness. For best result apply in multiple costs and allow at least 2 hours drying between coats, depending on weather conditions. Fiber mesh can be used between coats for extra strenght if desired.
Mix 20 Kg (44 lb) of EkoPlast-50 with 3 gallons (11.5 liters) of water for 6-8 minutes using low speed mixer until the mixture reaches a smooth trowable consistency. Add more water if necessary. Working time is about 2 hours depending on weather conditions.
